Monday Motivation 04.01.19: Prove Them Wrong


It’s time to prove them wrong.  

But by them I don’t mean your family, or friends, or even your haters.  

By them I mean the beliefs of your inner critic when it says:  

You’re too weak, or too skinny, or too fat, or too old…

You’re not good enough, smart enough, or rich enough…

You don’t deserve better…

But what about your past…  

You’re gonna fall hard, you’re gonna fail big…

Listen to what you believe in your inmost being, but if it doesn’t match who you desire to be, defy it, change it, and prove them wrong!

Monday Motivation 03.25.19: Resilience



1: the capability of a strained body to recover its size and shape after deformation caused especially by compressive stress

2: an ability to recover from or adjust easily to misfortune or change

It’s inevitable:  challenges and hard times will come.  But those with a resilient heart, mind, and body will bend or adapt under the pressure, and not break.

To live well, to succeed, to excel in any meaningful endeavor, we must learn to be adaptable and resilient.  Increase your resilience by upgrading your mindset through conscious, purposeful acceptance of your hard, annoying, daily challenges as a means to a higher level life; it all starts in the mind.

On a scale of 1 to 10, how high is your resilience quotient today?

Notice your thoughts.  They’re either helping you, or hindering you.

Understand this: you have the power to change what you think and the patterns thereof. 

Change your thoughts and you’ll change your emotions.

Change your emotions and you’ll change your reactions. 

Change your reactions and you’ll change your actions.

 Change your actions and you will transform your life!

You are here, now, for a reason.  

You are enough.  You are up to the task.

You either have what you need to succeed, or you’ll find it, develop it, or it will be given to you. 

You matter.  You matter more than you can comprehend.

 What you do with your days matters.  Your actions and inactions will ripple throughout the ocean of time.

Destiny waits, but it will not wait long.  Go get it.  

Go make it happen.
